Intresting Facts

Some interesting facts that I found:

1. Illinois had way more power plants generated renewable energy in 2018 compared to 2000.

2. The same is true for the US overall. There was way more clean energy being generated in 2018 compared to 2000.

3. Coal became a less popular way to generate energy as time passes. You can less plants generating coal in 2018 compared to 2000.

4. You would expect the US to produce less non-renewable energy but that is not the case. Below in the picture you can see how the amount of Natural Gas generated increases over the years from 2000 to 2018.

5. There was no plants generating solar energy in Illinois in 2000, but there is in 2018.
