The objective for this piece was to "reimagine" a book and my mind went straight to soup. I upcycled an old book I got and layered a can and a paper bowl with shredded pieces.Â
The soup portion was molded from air dry clay and painted with acrylic and gloss mod podge. I even snuck in my initials and a message that says "YUM". I used hot glue to suspend the spoon and create the illusion of a perfect bite!
