Providing resources to reduce antisemitism and create a more inclusive CHUFSD
PASA believes that antisemitism or hate of any group has no place in our schools.
One of the reasons we love living in Croton on Hudson is the shared sense of community, where we take care of each other and help each of us thrive.
Incidents of bigotry and hatred run against the fabric of our community and hurt us all. In the world around us, there have been increasing incidents of hate crimes and we want to do our part to keep that toxicity out of our schools.
In the spirit of promoting positive dialogue and effective action within CHUFSD (Croton Harmon Union Free School District), we’ve started a local, grassroots group called Croton Parents Against School Antisemitism (PASA) to act as a CHUFSD resource and parent barometer of concern.
We believe that it’s important to demonstrate that there are many people in CHUFSD who share the belief that schools should foster learning environments that eliminate moments where our students and families encounter antisemitism, an ancient form of bigotry that breeds other forms of hate.
