The Integration of Technology, Engineering and Computer Science (InTECS) program is a
comprehensive high school plan, to engage students in technical literacy and skills that will lead
to employability and/or post-secondary opportunities. Students will use design thinking and
engage in 21st century learning skills--critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and
communication. The InTECS program is a four-year cohorted plan consisting of engineering,
computer science, gaming, technological applications, JAVA, and an end of program capstone
course. The capstone course will encompass everything students learned throughout the
program and will give them the opportunity to develop a marketable product. In addition to
product developing and marketing, students will have the ability to receive certifications in CAD,
coding and/or AP credits. This program promotes ingenuity, innovation and business skills that
will highlight the eager learners who are ready to change or enhance outdated concepts in our
society.
