GOALS & FUNCTIONS OF CRI
Goals of Regional and Local CRI
To bring Major Superiors (at the Regional Level) and all Religious (at the Local Level) together and share mutual concerns
Combined effort towards full achievement of the purpose of different congregations and institutes
Take up common issues that affect consecrated life in the Region/Disease
Establish co-ordination and co-operation with various Church bodies
Promote fellowship among all sections of people in the area
Functions of Regional and Local CRI
Dissemination and Execution of Policies and decisions of National CRI (at the Regional level); Dissemination and Execution of Policies and decisions of National and Regional CRI (at the local level)
Foster co-operation among the Religious
Promote the pastoral vision of the Region and the Dioceses
Act as links between National, Regional and the last religious in the area
Collaboration in service with Bishops and the Diocesan clergy
Taking active participation in the Local Church
Sharing responsibilities in the field of Evangelization and Social Action.
