The conference is organized by the group CRITTOGRAFIA E CODICI (Italian Mathematical Union) and and it will take place in the Aula Magna of the Department of Management and Engineering (DTG), University of Padua (Stradella S. Nicola 3, 36100 Vicenza, Italy), on October 30–31, 2026.
OVERVIEW
The annual conference of the UMI group “Cryptography and Codes” provides an important forum for researchers working in the fields of cryptography and coding theory. These fields play a central role both in theoretical mathematical research and in applications related to cybersecurity and information technology. Cryptography and coding theory are highly interdisciplinary areas, involving several branches of mathematics, including algebra, geometry, number theory, and the theory of algorithms, with strong connections to computational methods and practical applications.
In this context, the conference aims to:
foster the exchange of recent scientific results;
promote collaborations among national and international research groups;
strengthen the connection between academic research and applications in the ICT sector.
