Meet the Team

Edith's passion for teaching began more than 20 years ago in Taiwan. After returning to Ontario to complete her BEd, she set off on another global adventure, teaching and exploring in countries like Qatar and Sweden. Her experience spans both elementary and post-secondary classrooms. When she isn't studying or working as an Education and Training Advisor for a not-for-profit, Edith spends her time with her beloved rescue dog, Ronan (a smart boy who's still hoping to develop his critical thinking skills). :) 

The field of Continuing Education has propelled Jessica’s career journey in learning and teaching. For over a decade, Jessica has held contract lecturer appointments across multiple Universities, teaching both in-person and online. Yet, it was her experience teaching online courses that helped to shape a career pivot into instructional design and, later, her journey into a Master’s in Educational Technology. As someone who is committed to lifelong learning, Jessica has come to know from her own experience what online, flexible and accessible learning provides adult learners juggling multiple responsibilities: opportunities to reskill, reposition (as she did) and re-envision one’s life and livelihood in a changing world. 

Cherri-Lynn is an educator, learning support teacher, and instructional coach with 30 years of experience in education. She is passionate about helping students succeed and supporting teachers through effective teaching practices, meaningful assessment, and educational technology. Currently completing her Master of Educational Technology, she is especially interested in how emerging technologies can support teaching and learning. Outside of school, she enjoys baking, gardening, and walking on the open prairie.

Logan currently teaches STEM 9 at Brooks Junior High School, in Brooks, Alberta. He works with many ELL refugee and immigrant students due to the unique cultural context Brooks provides. Currently working on his Masters of educational technology, he strategically incorporates educational technology into all aspects of his teaching; such as 3D Printers, AI, coding, reading levelers, and graphing technology.
