The Canadian Resource and Environmental Economics Association (CREEA) hosts an annual conference for researchers working on topics in resource and environmental economics.
The 33rd Annual Canadian Resource and Environmental Economics Association (CREEA) conference will take place on October 13-15, 2023. This year, CREEA is being hosted in Ottawa by Carleton University and the University of Ottawa.
This year, submissions will take two streams:
1. submission of complete papers to be considered for longer time blocks and assignment of a discussant.
2. submission of extended abstracts to be considered for short (10-15) minute presentations on early-stage work.
Instructions
Abstracts must not exceed two pages, including references (if any).
Paper submissions must be complete or late-stage drafts. Paper submissions not accepted for the longer presentations will be considered for the short presentations.
Please ensure that all authors and their contact information are included in the abstract or paper submission.
Submit your abstracts via this web form, which also collects necessary information including the presenter's name, affiliation, email address, and any restrictions on dates/times for presenting.
Graduate students are eligible to receive one of several travel grants. These grants are limited, so please indicate whether you would like to be considered for one at time of submission.
All authors will be notified of the final program by early August.
The deadline for abstract and paper submissions is July 15, 2023.
2023 Program Committee: Jevan Cherniwchan (chair), Vivian Hoffmann, Maya Papineau, Nic Rivers, Stephan Schott.
