Lasserre-Renzetti Prize

Lasserre-Renzetti Prize for best student paper

Initiated in 2018, the Lasserre-Renzetti Prize for best student paper is granted to a paper authored (or coauthored) by a student and presented by that student at the annual conference, and includes a prize of $500 Canadian. Criteria for the attribution of the prize shall include the quality of the paper itself as well as that of the presentation. The executive committee may establish more specific criteria.

The chair in conjunction with the executive committee shall constitute a jury before the annual meeting for the purpose of awarding the Prize to the most deserving student.

The name of the Prize is meant to honour the memory of the late Pierre Lasserre (UQAM) and Steven Renzetti (Brock), two economists who have contributed to CREEA | ACERE.
