We assess all abdominal organs including the Liver and its internal structures (ducts and vessels), the Gallbladder (GB), Kidneys, Pancreas, Spleen, the bladder as well as the prostate gland. Our high-frequency transducers allow us to evaluate superficial structures in the abdomen, delineate micro splenic abscesses in the spleen and detect ay bowel inflammation such as acute appendicitis.

Liver, GB, Pancreas- 750

This ultrasound examination includes the assessment of the whole right upper quadrant of the abdomen as well as the epigastric region to exclude gallbladder (gallstones, GB inflammation, GB cancer, polyp), pancreas (pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer), hepatic vessels (portal hypertension, PV thrombosis, Budd-Chiari syndrome) and liver (cirrhosis, hepatitis, cyst, hemangioma, cancer, steatosis/fat in the liver, hepatomegaly) pathologies.

It is very important that the patient fast at least 8 hours prior to this examination to minimize the amount of gas in the abdomen and avoid pseudo-thickening of the gallbladder wall that can occur when the patient eats.

Kidneys, Ureters, Spleen, Bladder, and Prostate- R850

This ultrasound examination includes the assessment of the urinary system as well as the spleen. This helps to exclude renal (kidney stones, water accumulating in the kidneys or hydronephrosis, renal cysts, renal cancer, kidney failure) and bladder (stones, cancer, inflammation) pathologies.

The spleen is examined to exclude microcalcification, micro splenic abscesses and is measured to exclude splenomegaly.

Prior to this examination, the patient needs to drink enough water to optimally assess the whole urinary system. It is however not necessary to fast before this examination.

Upper Abdomen- R850

This examination includes all organs and main vessels of the upper abdomen. It exclude the prostate, bladder and female reproductive organs.

The patient needs to fast at least 8 hours prior to this examination.

Full Abdomen- 1000

This is the assessment of the upper and lower abdomen, all organs and main vessels included.

Patient preparation: fasting at least 8 hours and full bladder required.
