CREATIVE HEARTS TEAM

Vivienne Fullerton, Founder & Executive Director
Vivienne Fullerton is the founder of Creative Hearts, a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to creative engagement for older adults with dementia. Since 2024, her intergenerational art programs have served over 500 seniors, delivering structured, intergenerational art programs designed to improve social connection, emotional well-being, and cognitive engagement.

Vivienne’s mission is rooted in personal experience and a rigorous academic foundation, including a clinical neuroscience immersion program at Stanford University, entrepreneurship studies at UCSD, and independent research recognized by the San Diego Science Fair and Psychological Association.

Her work has earned national and international honors, including the U.S. Congressional Gold Medal, the President’s Volunteer Service Award, a California Congressional Challenge Coin from a Congressmember and features in People Magazine. At 16, she was formally recognized by the California State Assembly for her community impact and invited to intern at a university neuroscience lab. In 2026, Creative Hearts was the only teen-led organization to receive the Ginny Gives® Award from the Dementia Society of America and become a finalist in the Dementia Care Awards.
