Custom Wheelchair-Accessible Memory Care Sharing Library - Current Work In Progress

Seniors with dementia can sometimes feel isolated and lose independence, especially when it becomes harder for them to communicate. This project will give them a place to access dementia-friendly books, connect with others, be creative, and feel involved in their community. By building the library with memory care residents, youth volunteers, families, and caregivers, we hope to create a welcoming space and build intergenerational connections that bring people together and benefit seniors for many years.
