BEHAVIORAL SCIENCE RESEARCH

Creative Hearts' founder designed and conducted a six-month randomized controlled study involving participants aged 72 to 97, measuring changes in emotional well-being and short-term verbal recall before and after a structured creative intervention. She performed statistical analysis on the results and presented her findings to a panel of judges, including scientists, physicians, and researchers. In 2026, her research earned second place in Behavioral and Social Science Research and third place from the San Diego Psychological Association, where she was also awarded a medal. This work contributed to her selection for a neuroscience research internship at a university laboratory, where she researched sex-based disparities in mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) alongside undergraduate researchers and neuroscience faculty.   Link to article.
