Evidence that you have given notification of marriage to the registry office in the UK/Canada/USA/NZ etc where your partner lives

Certificate of Not Married
Details of the marriage or civil partnership and evidence of money paid towards costs related to it
Evidence to show that you are free to marry or enter into a civil partnership

THIS COULD INCLUDE A

Decree nisi
Decree absolute
Death certificate of a previous partner

REQUIREMENTS FOR LEAVE TO ENTER AS A VISITOR FOR MARRIAGE OR TO ENTER A CIVIL PARTNERSHIP

Can show that he intends to give notice of marriage or civil partnership, or marry or form a civil partnership, within the period for which entry is sought; and

Can produce satisfactory evidence, if required to do so, of the arrangements for giving notice of marriage or civil partnership, or for his wedding or civil partnership to take place, during the period for which entry is sought
