TUITION FEES

There are two types of universities in Portugal – private and public. Generally public universities charge lesser fee as compare to Private Universites,

Upto 100% scholarship also avialalbe according to the evaluation marks once pass their 1 year. International students have to pay annual fee , however some private universities also accept monthly fee.

LIVING EXPENSES FOR STUDENTS IN PORTUGAL

Portugal is considered to be one of the cheapest countries in Europe. The living costs vary in the different regions & cities, but compared to the other countries it is significantly lesser.

ACCOMMODATION COSTS

Accommodation costs in Portugal are pretty much lower as compare to other European countries .

Students halls of residence – between 125 and 160 EUR/month for a single room.( Can be shared by two persons )

Rent apartment – one-bedroom apartment is between 230 and 350 EUR/month.( Can stay with family or 2 to 3 students )

Home stay – around 400 - 500 EUR/month, with breakfast included.( It all depends upon family and type of accommodation

Hostel – 12 to 22 EURO Per night for a dorm room.

All International students can avail discounts by showing their identity card, Students can avail different type of discounts like book stores, drink and food, sport activities, public transport and mobile connections.

STUDY INTAKE

Only Two intakes in a year (January & September) , At moment we are recruiting students for Jan 2017 Intake. Study Expanses: - Normally for Master Degree program it costs to 7000 Euro ( which includes 1 Year Tuition Fee , University Application Fee , University Enrollment Fee & 1 Way air fare.) The Study expanses are very much less than the other European countries.

PORTUGAL STUDENT VISA - DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

Two passport-size photographs in color with white background. (3.5cm / 4.5cm). Please do not staple.
The Passport must have validity of 1 Year
Proof of acceptance / confirmation / registration in a course of study / research work /training program in a recognized University/Institute/company.
Police Clearance Certificate issued by Passport Office (Attested by Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi (APOSTILLE)
Proof of sufficient funds to cover all expenses during the stay in Portugal (Bank Statement for the last three months, if employed Salary slips / Income Tax Returns etc. of self/parents).Funds must be deposited in National or European Bank.
Proof of educational/professional qualifications along with Marksheets of each semester / year.
No Objection Certificate from the current Institute/School (If Applicable).Applicable for Traning or Exchange Students. Or Recommendation Certificate issued by last education attended institute.
Ticket Reservation ( which shows the date of departure to Portugal )
Proof of accommodation/declaration from University. ( Must be booked in University Hotel or Dormitory )
Overseas travel medical insurance valid for all Schengen-countries .The insurance has to cover the applicant for at least 30,000 Euros or 50 ,000 UDS, The policy has to clearly specify the period of validity and has to cover the entire duration of the trip including the date of arrival and departure.
Minors below 18 years traveling alone must submit the written consent of their parents /guardian.
Declaration form granting SEF (Foreign and Borders Office) permission for consulting criminal record in Portugal (not required for minors below sixteen years) (Forms available at VFS Global)

Note:

Portugal Embassey have right to call student for personal interview , along with all original documents.

The visa fee, according to Schengen regulations, is non-refundable.
