What is the Intention for this site?
Creativity Liaison...Creative Formation...what does this mean and what is its place & purpose:
My intention is simply to share my own experiences...of what has helped guide and support me in my own creative and spiritual journey. First, it has and continues to be...a Process. A journey that is continually making changes and adapting ..it's evolving and deepening. Process refuses to stay static and accept the status quo!
It's been a lot of trial and error. Many mistakes with few "trophies" and monetary gains. However, what I have cultivated deep within myself has been invaluable. I Invite you to find your own way... & To Create Your Own Joy.
Blessings
~Rae

Breaking Free: Unleash Your Inner Artist!
Bring to life the images, colors, thoughts, and ideas within you. Let the journal be a canvas for your deepest imaginings. Allow your inner being to burst from the pages!!!
Today, get out of your comfort zone & let yourself color outside the lines. There are no rules when it comes to creativity. Experiment with different media or simply allow these pages to be a place where you document your day's activities in your own unique way.
In 2025 I facilitated 3 different retreats. Giving Voice To...retreat held in LaCrosse, WI at the Franciscan Center...I co-facilated a summer series of horse connecting retreats using creativity as a means to connect...and lastly, the retreat held in Random Lake, WI which is featured in the photo.
Living Into & From the Process Mindset...this to me is "Heaven on Earth". There is no destination spot...all that there is...is our readiness & willingness to Accept & Surrender to the 'What Is...Just As It Is'. Trusting in God's Goodness, Grace & Guidance to lead us to Peace, Love & Joy.

*Break one of your "rules"!
*Remove Distractions while surrounding yourself with Inspiration
*Take Inventory of your interests, skills, what catches your attention

To the left...the images are all a part of my Creativity Portfolio.
WIthin these sketch books contain my experiments with acrylic paints, different tools, alcohol inks and pastels, Inktense pencils, cold wax, graffiti journaling etc...Over the years I'm discovering more and more what techniques I gravitate towards...thus defining my particular style more fully.
Above are Tips for the Process Mindset...
Below...view the Image Carousel from the Product Perspective...which entails...judgement..."I like this!", "What is this?!?!", "It's too ..." etc...Judgement is not necessarily your "friend".
In cultivating a Creative Spirit...practice with the Focus on the Process.
The more I "paint" & simply Play & Pray With Colors... it has become less and less about how the product looks... And Simply More about... the Pure Joy that is freely available to me as I make the time for creating in my life.
Creative Products as a result from the Creative Process
Playing & Praying with colors...
Playing & Praying With Colors... This can be done with acrylics, water color paints, colored pencils, crayons, pastels...The choice is yours! Tryout several mediums and discover what resonates most with you. Here are two examples of how to play & pray with colors. The video demonstrates acrylic paints and the canvas uses Stabilo woody pencils and finished off with a favorite color of acrylic paint.
Ok everyone...this may seem too wacky, stretching it too thin, video message...but I wanted to share with whomever is interested...the power and gifts available when making Playing & Praying With Colors a spiritual practice.
Insight meditation teacher Ruth King embraces art as a form of medicine for ourselves and our communities:
To express ourselves artistically is a mindfulness practice in that we are inescapably both creator and that which is being created. As we courageously give ourselves to our artistic expression, we cultivate patience, empathy, discipline, and our capacity to hold energy as it cooks and simmers into an offering of truth to ourselves and a caring offering to our culture….
Art speaks to a truth larger than our suffering, and our job is to make a genuine offer. Whether you are a writer, dancer, healer, sculptor, painter, singer, architect, teacher, gardener, philosopher, or caregiver, your offering is sure to be medicine for collective well-being.
Consider your life a gift. What’s inside?
