Utilizing the Ubuntu Budgie operating system, crayonOS releases its powerful potential with user friendly GUI. The result? Endless possibilities for development, work, education, and much more! Since April 2018, the entire crayonOS system was revamped to have more uniform icons, run faster, and provide each user with a satisfying experience every time they turn on their PC.
Introducing the official crayonOS Ichi Default Desktop! The desktop comes standard with features such as

crayonOS comes standard with Python, Ruby, and C# Support!
It's the news we've all been waiting for! crayonOS' first stable release is coming soon! After months of hard working and endless testing, the time is coming soon! We estimate that by the end of May 2018, the first copies of the OS should be released. Below are a few of the additions we have considered and are in the process of adding to Ichi.
-Fully customizable lock screen (e.g. Customized login messages, default profile pictures, lock screen photos, startup screen, etc)
-ClipView (Program that allows multiple copy and pastes to be possible without individually inputting every command for one set)
-Cinnamon/KDE GUI Fusion in the works!
-Redesigned file system (more details soon)
-Pre-installed compatibility layer for Windows programs (similar to Wine)
-GUI and kernel tweak packages
-Much more!
Currently, Ichi is undergoing its 3rd round of development. During this time, essential packages to making the system, file services, and basic drivers are being compiled and installed into the new system. As of now, tests show that the recommended minimum amount of disk space to run Ichi would be 20 GB.
