See here for full competitor information.
We would like all competitors to carefully read all the instructions; however, please take special note of the following:
Please show care around moored vessels, in particular near The Plough and at Stourbridge Common.
When boating or and returning to your boathouse, please give priority to junior crews. It will be easier for everyone if you give them space on the hard for them to boat and push off.
You must be past the finish line (near Green Dragon footbridge) at least 20 minutes before your division start time.
No boating is allowed from Stourbridge Common or Ditton Meadow. Visiting crews who have not already made arrangements should contact winterleague@crarowing.co.uk
We will post important race announcements and Winter League news over a WhatsApp group (announcements only). At least one member of each crew should join: follow this link.
There is an approximate 50 minute window in between divisions where it may be possible for non-racing crews to make use of the river between Green Dragon Bridge and Baits Bite Lock. For each crew that would like to request a row-through, please fill out this form.
You must request a row-through before race day.
You should only proceed downstream past Green Dragon once the marshal there has confirmed that racing in the previous division has finished.
Do not row or wait in the marshalling area (from first post reach) when crews are beginning to marshal there (see timetable below).
You must be completely off the course (either over the lock or upstream of Green Dragon) before racing starts for the next division.
Crews which do not arrive to marshalling in time for the end of the row-through window may be held until the end of the next division. It’s up to colleges to know and interpret the rules from CUCBC regarding row-throughs before 11am. The table below shows an approximate timetable:
