Girl Scouts:
· Please have your daughter pack her bag and roll up her sleeping bag. This is something they should be comfortable doing on their own.
· Pajamas
· Flashlight and/or headlamps
· Sleeping Bag
· Pillow
· Stuffed animal if they want or need.
· Please make sure they have enough pants and clothes for the weekend and spares should they need to change.
· Comfortable sneakers or hiking shoes are ideal (no crocs or open toed shoes)
· It gets chilly at night so they should dress warmly for bed and maybe pack a winter hat if they are chilly for sleeping. Have socks for cold toes at night.
· Sweatshirt!! Don’t forget a sweatshirt or warm jacket that can be worn at night or early mornings before it warms up.
· Incidentals that seem obvious but are easily forgotten during packing: toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, towels, lotion, hair ties or supplies, and shower shoes.
· Bring a refillable water bottle!
· Mess kit
· Bug Spray
· Suncreen
· Bring the Girl Scout Vest for photos.
· Bring both the sit upon and a camp chair.
· If your child needs or takes medicine, please bring it and make sure the leader is aware of when and how it is used.
· Hat or sun visor if you have one.
· Backpack that they can wear during the day to hold water and a snack.
· Games they want to play during their downtime.
Girl Scout Leader:
