How did dinosaurs become extinct?

How did the dinosaurs become extinct?

This historical text (about things from sixty-five million years ago!)is about the strongest mammals- Dinosaurs! Unfortunately, no one knows how these reptiles became extinct but archaeologists have guessed a few reasons. In this text the paragraphs are :

· what are dinosaurs;

· how did they become extinct;

· close relatives.

Did you know that dinosaurs are monotremes?

What are dinosaurs?

Dinosaurs are a diverse group of reptiles of the clade Dinosaurus but were the largest animals on Earth. Interestingly, the largest dinosaur ever recorded was the Mosasaurus, which was over one-hundred and eighty feet (54.864 metres) that’s large! But the king of the dinosaurs is the mighty, all powerful TYRANNOSAURUS REX! Did you know, some dinosaurs are carnivores and some vegan herbivores but none omnivores? Dinosaurs became the dominant force of the Jurassic and the Cretaceous period. Possibly, if dinosaurs didn’t face extinction humans should probably be… dead!

How did they become extinct?

As it so happens, the dinosaur’s extinction could have happened in many ways because many scientists have many theories for example: an asteroid hit the Earth. The asteroid theory says an asteroid dilapidation because of an increase in iridium- a metallic chemical element (symbol Ir) with an atomic number of seventy-seven –or maybe global warming! In the duration of this catastrophic event, besides these mastodons, many species of mammal, amphibian and plants were asphyxiated as well!

What relatives still live?

Did you know, birds are the only living ancestors of these prehistoric relics? Birds have feathers, like the Micro raptor and the Anchiornis , forming wings. They share features such as pneumatized bones, gastroliths , digestive systems and brooding behaviour.

To conclude, extinction happens the next race rebuilds the world! Dinosaurs were the most interesting creatures in the world. Did you know, after extinction (as announced) dinosaurs survived seven-hundred thousand years longer!?
