SMUD Solar Regatta - May 2, 2026

"SMUD’s competition is open to all high schools, colleges and universities in California. Working together in teams, students design, build and race their own solar-powered boats. They are judged for Presentation, Sprint, Endurance, Slalom and sustainability. Students get hands-on, experience with renewable energy and engineering. " -SMUD.org

Solar Splash - June 2-6, 2026

The Solar Splash has been established to promote interest in Science and Technology, Education, and Personal Interactive Skills. Established for collegians, it gives students an opportunity to apply theory to a practical project in a team environment. The Solar Splash itself serves as an opportunity for students to compete and showcase their accomplishments.
