COVID-19 RULES:

  • Masks: All meet attendees (i.e., coaches, spectators, volunteers) are required to wear a face mask at all times. Runners may remove masks only during their race. Masks will be available as needed.
  • Team Tent Area: Each team will have an assigned tent space on the left side of the field entry gates in front of the start line area. Refer to Area Map.
  • Water: Each team must provide their own water. It will not be available for runners at the finish line. Please make sure teams have ample water as it can get hot.
  • Social Distancing / Restricted Areas: Spectators are not allowed near the finish line area and must practice social distancing at all times.

Friday Schedule (Sept. 11, 2020)

  • Course open to walk (JV only) 4:00pm
  • 5:00 PM rolling start
  • Order of Events:
    1. 5:00pm HS Division 2 JV Girls 5K (10 runners)
    2. 5:30pm HS Division 2 JV Boys 5K (10 runners)
    3. *Intermission Period
    4. 6:45pm HS Division 1 JV Girls 5K (10 runners)
    5. 7:15pm HS Division 1 JV Boys 5K (10 runners)

Saturday Schedule (Sept. 12, 2020)

  • 7:15 AM rolling start
  • Order of Events:
    1. 7:15am HS Division 1 Girls 5K (10 runners)
    2. 7:45am HS Division 1 Boys 5K (10 runners)
    3. *Intermission Period
    4. 9:45am HS Division 2 Girls 5K (10 runners)
    5. 10:15am HS Division 2 Boys 5K (10 runners)

* * Please ensure teams finished racing pack and exit campus during Intermission. New teams will be allowed onto field upon departure of teams that have finished.

Buses for races after Intermission should not unload team until instructed by CPHS parking volunteer.

Packet Pickup

  • Packets will be available at Registration Tent located inside field entry gates near SE corner of main school building.
  • JV packet pick up begins on Friday at 4:00pm.
  • Varsity packets will be distributed upon team arrival Saturday morning.

Meet Course Description

  • A crushed granite/grass trail in a wooded area behind the school.
  • Please note: The course is subject to change as we get closer to the event. An alternate course is available if there are heavy rains.

  • Team Championship Trophy (all races)
  • Individual Medals for top 10 (all races)

Other Notes

Parking:

Recommend buses for first half of Friday JV meet arrive at 3:45pm to avoid end of school day traffic (school ends at 4:00pm). Please have buses enter from West side of high school off Anderson Mill Road and drop off athletes by the Tennis Courts. Then proceed North to parking lot area. This will help greatly with traffic flow.

Spectators:

Course is spectator friendly with lots of chances to see athletes race. Due to Covid, spectators are not allowed near the finish line area and must practice social distancing at all times. Refer to Course and Area Maps for details.

Event T-Shirts:

There will be event t-shirts on site for sale, $20/each. (Cash/Credit Card)

Concessions:

Bottled cold drinks and other pre-packaged snacks for sale. (Cash/Credit Card)

Coach Hospitality Tent:

We will have a Coach Hospitality Tent next to the Registration Tent just inside the field entry gates.

Trainers:

Trainers will be available at finish line.
