Important Meet Information
MEET COURSE:
❖ A crushed granite/grass trail in a wooded area behind the school.
❖ Course is subject to change as we get closer to the event. Alternate course is available if heavy rains occur.
2-MILE RACES (INCLUDING FUN RUN): Events 6, 7, 8, and 9
❖ Race on the Cedar Park Cross Country Course after the 5K races.
❖ Help raise funds for the CPHS XC team and trail maintenance while enjoying the festivities!
❖ Individually timed and ranked.
AWARDS:
❖ High School & Middle School
o Team Championship Trophy (all races)
o Individual Medals for top 10 Runners (all races)
❖ Fun Run / Club / Home School
o Individual Medals for top 10 boy and top 10 girl finisher
OTHER NOTES:
Parking: Please have buses enter from the North side of high school off Cypress Creek Road and drop off athletes by the band pad. Then proceed to parking lot area. This will help greatly with traffic flow. Overflow for buses will be at CPMS or Milburn Park.
Team Tent Area: Please have team tents set up in tree line near starting line. Refer to Area Map and posted signs. Overflow team tent area on right side of field entry gates nearest football field. Follow posted signs.
Fleet Feet and Asics: Fleet Feet Leander and Asics will have booths with merchandise available for purchase.
Spectators: Spectator friendly course with lots of chances to see athlete's race. Refer to Area Map.
Event T-Shirts: There will be event t-shirts for sale on-site, $25/each -- cash/credit card.
Concessions: Breakfast tacos and other concession items for sale -- cash/credit card
Coach Hospitality Tent: We will have a Coach Hospitality Tent in conjunction with Registration Tent just inside the second entry gates.
Water/Trainers: We will have trainers available at finish line and water gators. We will not be handing out water to finishers so please make sure your teams have ample water as it can get hot.
