In the last Extraordinary Meeting held in February, the execution of the modification of downspouts was agreed due to the precarious state in which they are. The small number of companies that can do so and that have shown their interest in taking on this work are two circumstances that are delaying this action more than desirable.
Therefore,
refrain from throwing wet wipes into the toilet
If this attitude persists, there will be new traffic jams with the unpleasant consequences that they represent, in addition to entailing a significant cost for the Community.
Likewise, we ask the owners who rent their apartments to insist on communicating this requirement to their tenants, as it is a measure that results in the common good and, at the same time, will not harm the activity of holiday rental to the extent that we achieve the proper functioning of the drainage infrastructures.
After completing the conditioning and painting of the pool basin, the water treatment products will be filled and applied after respecting the drying period of the applied product and reaching the levels of chlorination and PH that allow bathing.
The opening hours will be
from 10:00 to 15:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00 h
The current regulations (Decree 485/2019, of June 4, which approves the Technical Health Regulation of Swimming Pools in Andalusia) in its article 17 establishes the obligation for pools like ours to have a lifeguard to be able to use it, so access to the pool outside its opening hours will not be allowed. Any infringement of the community rules of use of the pool will be reported to the competent authority.

After finishing the renovation of the pool's expansion joint, the pool was painted using a double layer of chlorinated rubber paint with anti-algae treatment. Once the recommended drying period (6-7 days) finishes, the pool will be filled and opened.

The expansion joint of the swimming pool has been restored following the technical advice of an architect, using specific products such as waterproofing mortar and hydro-expansive joints.

The condition of the palm trees in our gardens required a thorough pruning and cleaning up of their trunks, as some of them were affected by the red palm weevil beetle. This has meant that the pruning has had to be carried out in greater depth, using the services of a specialist in this task.
The exhaustive nature of the pruning has generated a large amount of plant debris, which together with the availability of the gardening company has caused it to accumulate in the areas surrounding the location of the palm trees.
The work is expected to be completed around the end of the week of 13-20 February.

During the month of February Torrox Costa suffered the effects of a windstorm which affected the fence between the pool area and the neighbouring property on the west corner as well as the fence surrounding the tennis court.
This incident has been reported to the community's insurance company for assessment and subsequent repair/replacement.
Given that the situation in which the pool fence was found posed a risk to the neighbouring property, once the installation was visited by the insurance company's surveyor, the fallen section has been dismantled, marking the area as you can see in the attached photographs.
Please take extreme care and avoid walking in the area close to the damage.
The strong gusts of wind have also caused some of the roof tiles to come loose. Although our employee, Miguel Angel has proceeded to secure the ones he has detected loose, we would be grateful to the owners that if they detect this circumstance in any other block, please let the members of the Board of Governors or Miguel Angel directly know so that we can proceed to repair them.
