Executive Director, African Center for Trade and Development
Ms. Susan Nanduddu is the Executive Director of the African Centre for Trade and Development (ACTADE) which has a mission to promote trade empowerment, advocate for climate action, and champion inclusive budget advocacy in the region. With over eight years of dedicated service to ACTADE, Ms. Nandudu has been at the forefront of driving growth, enhancing visibility, and ensuring the fulfilment of our core objectives.
She has been advancing ACTADE's commitment to empowering local communities and businesses through trade; supporting their efforts to address climate change and promote sustainable practices, championing the cause of advocating for inclusive budgets that benefit all segments of society, providing overall leadership and direction to a dedicated team and managing the financial resources. She supported the decision for her organisation to act as an interim fund manager in 2021, of the Least Developed Country Initiative for Effective Adaptation and Resilience in Uganda. This initiative intends to deliver an ambitious 70% of available climate finance to the local level where it is needed the most, from a paltry 10%.
