Promoting and advocating for climate action through the creative arts, media and journalism through creative artists, media, journalists, cultural advocates and other Caribbean influencers.
Globally there has been a shift in public attention towards climate change and related causes, and as a result, Caribbean creative artists, media and journalists and other cultural advocates are making a stance through their content and social media activism about the importance of climate action.
This session seeks to improve collaboration in leveraging music, culture and creative arts to foster positive growth in sustainable development with focus on gender and climate action. It will demonstrate the role of creative and design platforms as intervention tools to bolster actions and SDG implementation.
