Hi, I’m Coach Meg Walker — and my mission is simple: to help cowgirls feel strong, confident, and capable in everything they do, in and out of the saddle.
My background comes from the same places many of my athletes start: miles in the pasture, long days in the arena, and firsthand experience learning what it really takes to perform well on a horse. I’ve lived the highs of progress and the lows of setbacks - and I discovered early on that raw talent and grit can only take you so far.
What truly moves the needle for western athletes is the combination of:
strategic strength training
realistic, sustainable nutrition
injury-aware programming
and the mental resilience to show up consistently
That’s why I’ve spent years studying fitness, nutrition, biomechanics, and mental performance - not to collect letters behind my name, but to give cowgirls the kind of training and support I wish I’d had earlier.
My approach is simple, honest, and built for real life:
No quick fixes.
No “magic” supplements.
No unrealistic restrictions.
Just proven training strategies, practical fueling guidance, and mindset tools that work whether you’re running in the 1D, roping calves, hauling every weekend, or trying to feel better and stronger in your everyday life.
I coach barrel racers, breakaway ropers, goat tyers, trail riders, rodeo moms, and western women of all backgrounds — because the foundation is the same:
a strong, healthy, mentally resilient athlete creates a better rider.
The Cowgirl Performance Blueprint was built to support exactly that.
Together, we focus on:
functional strength that transfers to your riding
endurance and stability for cleaner, faster runs
recovery habits that keep you in the saddle season after season
mindset and confidence so you perform at your highest level
There’s no one-size-fits-all in my coaching.
Every woman has different goals, challenges, schedules, and responsibilities - and your training should reflect that.
My job is to guide you, support you, educate you, and help you step into the strongest version of yourself - physically, mentally, and as an athlete.
If you’re ready to feel the difference in your strength, your riding, and your confidence…
I’m here to help you get there.
Let’s ride, train, and grow - together.
