Mission
To introduce underrepresented groups to STEM and increase representation of young minorities in the community.
To encourage students in STEM to further use their knowledge in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) through project based learning. Any student that resides within Sacramento County and is in grades 6 - 12 can enter.
We are all upcoming seniors at Franklin High School of Elk Grove, right here in Sacramento County. We have come together to make this exciting event for all of you, and while we want to get to know you through your projects, we think you should learn a bit about us!

Staying organized is really important to me, so I spend a ridiculous amount of time making my planner look pretty. I also love spending time with my friends and experiencing new things with them. I am a part of the band program at Franklin. I love video games (to name a few: Pokemon, Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, and Mario), and deeply value my friendships. Most of the time I am either involved with whatever band event is currently going on or playing one of my current games.

I usually spend my free time reading, studying, drawing, trying my best to barely play piano, and playing the occasional game. I also genuinely (truly) enjoy volunteering in the community especially among health and youth services, and in my world I want a pet seal one day, because seals are absolutely the best.

I am so excited to be a senior! Math is my favorite subject along with band. I enjoy being with my friends and I bake profusely when I'm stressed. In the future, I hope to join the FBI.

My name is Caleb Hansen. I'm 17 years old. I don't smoke, and I don't drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness.

I usually spend my time playing video games and learning new things - yeah, I know learning is weird, but I enjoy it. I also like to hang out with my friends a lot and talk about our futures and dreams. Hopefully I can become a Structural Engineer in the near-ish future.
