2026 Tournament Schedule

Our tournaments are open to all Coverdale Tennis Club members, regardless of skill level, and participation is free of charge. These events are designed to bring members together, foster friendships, and add a little friendly competition throughout the season.

👑 Victoria Day Tournament – 18 May 2026: Kick off the season with our first tournament of the year! This paired doubles event features fixed partners for all three sets, with each set consisting of eight games. Participation is open to all members who have paid their 2026 membership dues...an added incentive to get your membership in early!

🇨🇦 Canada Day Tournament – 1 July 2026: Wear your red and white, bring your Canadian spirit, and celebrate Canada Day on the courts! Players will keep the same partner for all three sets, with pairings determined using modified tournament guidelines that balance youth and experience.

🤪 Looney Tourney – 3 August 2026: Think tennis at CTC is getting a little too serious? Think again! The Looney Tourney is all about fun, laughter, and unexpected twists. Special “looney” rules will be introduced to level the playing field and keep everyone guessing.

🎾 Labour Day Tournament – 7 September 2026: After a summer of play and improvement, it's time to put your skills to the test. This tournament uses standard tennis rules and features three sets of eight games. Teams will be formed by pairing a 2.5-rated player with a 3.0+ rated player to create balanced and competitive matches.

🦃 Turkey Tournament - 12 October 2026: One last tournament before the snow flies! In the spirit of the season—and with Halloween just around the corner—come dressed in disguise and ready for some fun. Partners will be selected by random draw, and play will follow our traditional tournament format.
