What is a "Ghost"?👻
A Ghost for a workshop is someone who pays for, and receives, the kit and instructions for the workshop project, but does not attend the actual workshop. We will mail the kit to the Ghost participant.
Kimono Imperial Workshop

Wendy Moore is a designer and an NAN (National Academy of Needlearts) Certified teacher of Canvas Embroidery. The design chosen, is a delightful kimono that highlights a beautiful Bargello pattern in Imperial gold, red and blue. You’ll explore how wonderfully the Bargello pattern fits into the kimono, stitch a unique variation of an octagonal Rhodes Stitch, and surround the whole thing with a royal blue border and Milanese background.
Kit includes: All threads (including DMC Floche, Kreinik metallics, DMC & Threadworx over-dyed floss), beads, instructions, line-drawn canvas, needles.
Students bring: 10” (2 pair) stretcher bars, tacks or staples, laying tool, frame or frame weight, usual stitching supplies, and light and magnification if desired.
Workshop Details: Class will be held at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2135 Weston St, La Crosse, WI. Class runs 9-12 and 1-4 with lunch included in the workshop fee.
Workshop Cost for Coulee Country Chapter Members and Plural Members: $75 (Includes $15 lunch, $55 kit fee, and $5 administration fee). Ghosting is allowed, postage to be covered by $15 lunch charge.
Workshop Cost for Heartland Region Members: $84 (Includes $15 lunch, $55 kit fee, $5 administration fee, and $9 out of chapter charge). Ghosting allowed with lunch charge covering postage.
Registration Deadlines: Registration is now open to Coulee Country Chapter members and will open to Heartland Region Members May 1. Registration will close to all on July 15, 2024.

Workshop Cancellation Policy
A participant is financially responsible for the workshop reservation made.
If the participant needs to cancel before the end of the registration period (July 15, 2024), notify the registrar and monies will be refunded minus a handling fee of $10. In person participants will be given the option to convert to "ghost" prior to refund being issued.
If the participant cancels after registration has closed (July 16, 2024):
If there is a waiting list and the position is filled by the waiting list, the participant is refunded the fees paid minus a handling fee of $10 if deemed appropriate.
If there is no waiting list the participant may try to fill the position on their own (someone from her chapter, or another EGA member).
If the position is not filled the participant is responsible for the entire fee (deposit, class, and kit). If the participant was "In Person" they will be converted to "Ghost" and the kit will be mailed to them.
Contracts are made with teachers and supplies/kits are assembled well before the workshop is held. All are based on registration.
