Wool Pin Cusion and Scissors Keep
Let’s do some wool work! We’ll make a cute little scissors pouch using several basic stitches and some wool pieces. A cute mini pin cushion will finish the project. Perfect for a Valentine’s Day gift for a special someone or for yourself!

Chicken Scratch (Gingham) Embroidery
Originating in either Malaysia or France in the 17th C on striped fabric, later practiced by the English and Dutch around the 1800’s on checked fabric, and very popular during the Depression, we will make a dishtowel using this fun technique! Two patterns will be offered OR graph paper will be provided to design your own!

Sashiko Embroidery
A process originally started when decoratively patching clothing, this technique is now an art form of its own! We will give it a try and make a set of coasters!

Dorset Buttons
A type of needle lace button, Dorset Buttons were especially popular in England in the 1600’s until about 1860. Today you will see them used as shawl pins as well as decorative buttons. An endless variety of fibers can be used to make these!

Hardanger Mini Sock
Try your hand at a variety of different threads and techniques: hardanger, beading, open herringbone, eyelets AND end up with a cute item for the holidays! Would make very cute table favors!
