COSMOS 2023

My name is Alexis, and I was fortunate enough to attend the COSMOS program at UC Davis. I am in Cluster 5, which is Biophysics and Robotics.
More often than not, I was wondering what I was doing in the program considering I am relatively new to coding and robotics. I have experience in Java, however I have never dealt with Python making this experience extremely challenging.
Every day was a brand new problem to solve and although that was very frustrating at times, I am happy to report that this program pushed me and helped me face adversity better than I could before. Every challenge that I was able to solve gave me such pride because I felt as if I could never solve it in the first place.
I am blessed to have been able to partake in COSMOS, and I have grown immensly thanks to this program.
