Cosmic Terms of Use

Welcome to Cosmic, a mobile application operated by Maxiup ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Cosmic, including astrology features, AI chat, and Cosmic Dating (our dating and social matching service).
By downloading, installing, or using Cosmic, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy (https://sites.google.com/view/cosmicastroapp/privacy-policy). If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Eligibility
• You must be at least 18 years old to use Cosmic Dating.
• Other Cosmic features may be available to users who meet the minimum age required by your local law and app store policies.
• You represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Description of the service
Cosmic provides:
• Astrology features — birth chart information, compatibility insights, and related content for entertainment purposes.
• Chat — AI-assisted conversations and community group chats.
• Cosmic Dating — profile creation, discovery, matching, messaging, and related social features.
Astrology content is provided for entertainment and informational purposes only. It is not professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.
3. Your account
• You may sign in using Google or Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account.
• You may not share your account or impersonate another person.
• You must provide accurate profile information. Misrepresenting your age, identity, or appearance is prohibited.
• You may delete your account at any time via Cosmic Dating → Settings → Delete Account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
• Harass, threaten, abuse, stalk, or harm other users.
• Post or send unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or discriminatory content.
• Upload photos or content you do not have the right to use, or that depict minors.
• Solicit money, promote scams, spam, or commercial advertising without our permission.
• Use the app for prostitution, trafficking, or any illegal activity.
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the app or its servers.
• Create fake accounts or use automated bots.
• Circumvent safety, moderation, or payment systems.
We may investigate violations and take action including content removal, suspension, or permanent ban.
5. User content
• You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, messages, bio, voice notes, etc.).
• By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and process it solely to operate and improve the service, enforce these Terms, and ensure safety.
• You confirm you have all necessary rights to the content you upload.
• We may use automated and human moderation to review content. We do not guarantee that all objectionable content will be removed.
6. Cosmic Dating — additional rules
• Use Cosmic Dating respectfully. Meet in public places and take reasonable precautions when meeting people offline. We are not responsible for your interactions with other users.
• Do not share sensitive personal information (home address, financial details) with strangers.
• Report abusive or suspicious users through the in-app report feature.
• We may verify profiles (including face verification) to improve safety. Participation may be required for certain features.
7. Subscriptions and in-app purchases
Cosmic offers paid features including:
• Cosmic Pro — premium astrology and app features.
• Cosmic Dating Plus — enhanced dating features.
• Consumables — e.g. Boost and Super Like credits.
Payment: Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not store your payment card details. Subscription status is managed through RevenueCat.
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged through your app store account.
Cancellation: Manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
Refunds: Refund requests are handled according to Apple or Google policies. Contact the respective store for billing issues.
Restore purchases: Use the "Restore Purchases" option in the app if you reinstall or switch devices.
Prices, features, and availability may change. We will comply with applicable store disclosure requirements.
8. Privacy
Your use of Cosmic is also governed by our Privacy Policy:

9. Intellectual property
Cosmic, including its software, design, logos, and content (except user content), is owned by Maxiup and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
10. Termination
• You may stop using Cosmic at any time and delete your account.
• We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms, pose a safety risk, or if required by law.
• Upon termination, your right to use the app ends. Provisions that by nature should survive (e.g. disclaimers, limitation of liability) will remain in effect.
11. Disclaimers
THE APP AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not guarantee matches, relationships, or specific astrology outcomes.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAXIUP AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF COSMIC OR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY US DOLLARS (USD $50).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Maxiup from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the app, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted in the app or on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.
You agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us at cosmic@gmail.com before pursuing formal legal action, where permitted by law.
