Cosmic — Account Deletion

You can delete your Cosmic Dating account at any time. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
How to delete your account in the app
Open the Cosmic app
Go to Cosmic Dating
Open the Profile tab
Go to Settings
Tap “Delete my account”

What is deleted?
• Your profile information (name, bio, birth details, zodiac information) • Your profile photos • Your matches and swipe history • Your private chat messages (including text, photos, and voice messages) • Your group chat membership and group messages you sent • Your notification preferences and in-app settings • Your Firebase authentication account
After deletion, you will be signed out and will need to sign in again to use Cosmic Dating.
What data may be retained?
We may retain limited data where required by law, for security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution, such as:
• Payment and subscription records (via Apple App Store or Google Play; we do not receive your payment card details) • Safety and moderation records (reports, enforcement history) • Anonymized or aggregated statistical data
Subscriptions and purchases
If you have an active Cosmic Dating Plus subscription, Boost, or Super Like credits, we recommend canceling your subscription in the App Store or Google Play before deleting your account. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel store subscriptions.
If you cannot delete your account
If you cannot delete your account in the app or encounter an issue, contact us:

Use the subject line “Account Deletion Request” and include the email address linked to your account. We will process your request within a reasonable time after verifying your identity.
