Cosmic ("app", "we", "us", "our") is a mobile application provided by Maxiup. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our astrology features, chat, and Cosmic Dating services.
This policy is designed to comply with Apple App Store and Google Play requirements, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), and applicable privacy laws.

Depending on how you use the app, we may process:
2.1 Account and authentication
• Identity information from Google or Apple Sign-In (e.g. name, email, unique user ID)
• Firebase Authentication user ID
2.2 Profile and astrology data
• Name, date of birth, time of birth, place of birth
• Zodiac and rising sign information
• Profile photos and bio (Cosmic Dating)
• Gender and age (Cosmic Dating; minimum age 18)
2.3 Location data
• Approximate location (latitude/longitude) for Cosmic Dating discover features, only with your permission
• Used for distance calculation and match suggestions
2.4 In-app interactions
• Swipes, likes, matches, and messages
• Group chats and voice messages (when you upload them)
• Notification preferences and app settings
2.5 Purchases and subscriptions
• Subscription status (Cosmic Pro, Cosmic Dating Plus)
• In-app purchases such as Boost and Super Like credits
• Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play; we do not directly collect payment card details. Subscription management is handled through RevenueCat.
2.6 Technical and usage data
• Device type, OS version, app version
• Crash reports and anonymized usage statistics
• Anonymized/aggregated event data via Firebase Analytics and Meta (Facebook) App Events
2.7 Push notifications
• Device push token for notifications (OneSignal)
2.8 Safety and moderation
• Automated content moderation on profile photos
• Face verification (Cosmic Dating; when you use it)
• Reports and account suspension records
3. How we use your information
• Account creation and authentication
• Astrology analysis, chat, and personalized content
• Cosmic Dating: profiles, matching, messaging, discover filters
• Subscription and in-app purchase management
• Push notifications (matches, messages, super likes, etc.)

• Profile and interaction data is retained while your account is active.
• When you delete your account, data is permanently deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period (except where law requires retention).
• Analytics data may be kept in aggregated, anonymized form.
7. Security
We use HTTPS encryption, access controls, and secure server infrastructure. No system is 100% secure; we apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards.
8. International transfers
Our service providers (Firebase, RevenueCat, OneSignal, Meta, etc.) may process data outside your country. Transfers are subject to applicable safeguards and provider commitments.
9. Your rights
You may have the right to:

• Delete your account and data ("right to be forgotten")

10. Children's privacy
Cosmic Dating is for users 18 years and older only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware of such data, we will delete the account.

The app may request:
• Location: Show nearby profiles (Cosmic Dating)
• Camera / Photo library: Add profile photos
• Microphone: Send voice messages
• Notifications: Match and message alerts
You can revoke permissions in your device settings at any time.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this page. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
