Bruce Wake - £3,000!

Thrilled to confirm that we've received £3,000 from the Bruce Wake Charitable Trust which will go towards the wheelchair friendly trampoline.

A huge thank you to AJ Bell and their Future Foundation for the generous donation of £750. Incredibly grateful to local resident and AJ Bell employee, Terry, for nominating us.

£800 raised at quiz night

Thanks to the team at Queen's Nook bar, Crosby for holding a quiz night to help us raise £400 towards the inclusive wheelchair friendly trampoline. This was kindly match funded by Cargill, Liverpool.

Liverpool Echo Article

Thanks to the Liverpool Echo for the write up on our playground project.

We are so pleased they have shared the impact our refurbishment is having on local children with disabilities and shining a light on how much more we can do.

The first phase of our refurbishment has been completed. £50,000 has been spent on a wheelchair friendly roundabout, climbing frame, upgrading the swings with an inclusive seat, spinners and new safe flooring.

Huge thank you to Blundellsands ward councillors, Green Sefton and everyone who has contributed to our fundraising.

Thanks to Blakes for their donation to our project. The Liverpool based office supplies and workplace furniture specialist was established by local resident Michael Byrne who is keen to support our playground refurbishment.

"Every child has a right to play"

The children from Valewood Primary School reminded us of our main objective for the playground refurbishment.

Their UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools Ambassadors and Diversity Superheroes are involved in a national campaign by the charity Scope who are striving to make all parks/playgrounds across the country accessible.

They visited the park to complete the Scope questionnaire and these are some of their valuable comments.

They want to try and raise awareness of this important issue through their school and community. They are currently planning ways to support our project and we can't wait to hear their ideas.

Thanks to Bruce Wake Charitable Trust!

We have been awarded £2,000 from the Bruce Wake Charitable Trust. This funding will go towards equipment suitable for children requiring wheelchair access.

We raised £3,500 at our fundraiser!

Thanks to the local community for supporting our event! The park has never been so busy! The money raised will be split between the playground and lake projects.

Black Norman are proud supporters of our plans and we were thrilled to receive a £500 donation towards our refurbishment.

Asda Foundation donate £1,600!

We are so grateful for this amazing donation which will go towards a new piece of equipment.

Monthly Family Friendly Park tidy

Our activities vary each month, from litter picking, gardening, brushing paths, clearing leaves to painting benches. It is a great way to get exercise, engage children with local projects and give back to the community. Join us on the second Saturday from 1pm by the Pavillion.
