1952 to 2025 Comparison

Below is the Fraternity - Sorority page from the 1952 Ithaca city directory.   Several chapters are not not listed here but are listed in another part of the directory.  Although at first glance the Cornell fraternity topic appears incredibly complex there really has not been all that much change to mainstream fraternity - sorority chapters on campus over the past 75 years.   I have noted the specific changes since 1952 below the directory page.

Of course this analysis ignores the internal churning that has gone on since 1952;  namely chapters that came onto campus after the 1952 yearbook was published and then disappeared before 2025.  Coming and going inside the 75 year window.
