I am a professor of linguistics/semantics at the Goethe University of Frankfurt. As a formal semanticist, I am particularly interested in the semantics-pragmatics interface. My main topics of interest are dimensions of meaning & multimodality, iconicity in language, information structure, quantification, indefiniteness, and specificity.  I am currently also Vice-Dean of Faculty 10, Modern Languages, at Goethe University Frankfurt.
