Corevia Technologies Labs ("Corevia Labs," "Corevia," "we," "us," or "our") operates StudyMio AI (the "App").

This Privacy Policy explains how StudyMio AI accesses, processes, collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the App.

StudyMio AI is designed with a privacy-first, on-device AI architecture. Our core study-processing features are designed to perform AI processing locally on your Android device rather than sending your study material to a remote AI service for inference.

By using StudyMio AI, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.


1. Privacy-First On-Device AI

StudyMio AI uses an on-device AI engine to provide study-related functionality.

Depending on the feature you use, the App may process:

StudyMio AI's core AI processing is performed locally on your Android device using the locally installed Corevia AI model.

Study material provided to the on-device AI features is not intentionally uploaded to Corevia's servers or sent to a third-party cloud AI provider for inference.

After the required Corevia AI model has been downloaded and installed, supported AI processing can operate without an active internet connection.

Some App functions, such as downloading the model, advertising, subscription services, analytics, feedback submission, and other online services, require network connectivity.


2. Information Processed Locally on Your Device

The following information may be processed and stored locally by the App:

StudyMio AI may process photographs, images, PDFs, notes, and other study material that you voluntarily provide.

This material is used to provide the requested study functionality.

OCR data

When you scan or import an image, OCR may extract text from the image.

OCR processing is performed on-device using the App's local processing architecture where applicable.

AI-generated study material

The App may locally generate and store:

Unless specifically described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, this locally stored study content is not transmitted to Corevia's servers for cloud AI processing.


3. Information We Collect or Receive Through Online Services

Although core AI processing is performed on-device, StudyMio AI uses several third-party services to operate, secure, improve, and monetize the App.

These services may process limited technical, usage, purchase, advertising, or feedback-related information.

3.1 Firebase Analytics

StudyMio AI uses Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the App and to improve product functionality.

4. Crash Reporting and Performance Monitoring

StudyMio AI uses Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Performance Monitoring to identify crashes, stability problems, performance issues, and device compatibility problems.

Crashlytics may process technical diagnostic information such as:

Firebase documents that Crashlytics uses installation identifiers and technical crash information to help developers diagnose crashes. Firebase currently states that crash stack traces and associated identifiers are retained for 90 days before the removal process begins.

Performance Monitoring

Firebase Performance Monitoring may process technical information such as Firebase installation identifiers, IP addresses, and performance-related events to help measure App performance. Firebase currently documents retention periods of approximately 30 days for IP-associated events and 60 days for installation-associated/de-identified performance data before removal begins.

We do not intentionally use Crashlytics or Performance Monitoring to collect your study documents, OCR content, AI prompts, or AI responses.


5. Firebase Remote Config

StudyMio AI uses Firebase Remote Config to remotely configure certain App behavior and product settings without requiring a new App release.

6. Feedback and Issue Reports

StudyMio AI provides an in-app feedback and issue-reporting feature.

The feedback system is currently online-only. If your device has no internet connection, feedback is not submitted until you retry while connected.


7. Advertising

StudyMio AI uses Google AdMob to provide advertising, including rewarded advertisements that may provide additional AI credits.

Depending on Google's advertising configuration and applicable settings, advertising services may process information such as:

You may also have advertising/privacy controls available through your Android device and Google account.

We do not intentionally send your study documents, OCR text, AI prompts, or AI-generated responses to AdMob for advertising purposes.


8. Subscriptions and Purchases

StudyMio AI may offer premium subscriptions or other digital purchases.

Purchases are processed through Google Play Billing.

StudyMio AI also uses RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements and subscription status.

We do not directly process or store your credit-card number or other payment-card credentials.

Google Play handles payment processing for Google Play purchases. Google Play Billing provides the purchase and entitlement infrastructure used by Android applications offering digital products and subscriptions.

RevenueCat may receive information necessary to manage subscription status and entitlements.

Purchase-related information may include identifiers, product information, transaction information, subscription status, and purchase-related metadata provided through Google Play and the subscription-management services.


9. Corevia AI Model Downloads

StudyMio AI requires downloading the Corevia AI model before certain on-device AI features can be used.

The App may display notifications regarding model download progress, completion, or failure if notification permission is enabled.


10. Firebase App Check and Play Integrity

StudyMio AI uses Firebase App Check with Google Play Integrity for supported production backend operations.

This technology helps verify that backend requests originate from legitimate versions of the App and helps protect our backend services from unauthorized or automated abuse.

App Check/Play Integrity may process technical information required for application and device integrity verification.

These services are used for security and abuse prevention and are not used to process your study material for AI inference.


11. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect for AI Processing

StudyMio AI is designed so that the following are not intentionally transmitted to a cloud AI service for inference:

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the information processed by StudyMio AI.

14. Data Retention and Deletion

Study material and generated study content stored locally by StudyMio AI generally remain on your device until you delete them through the App, delete the relevant data, uninstall the App, or clear the App's storage through Android settings.

Analytics and diagnostics

Firebase services retain technical and analytics information according to their applicable service retention policies. For example, Firebase currently documents Crashlytics retention of crash stack traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before deletion begins.

Feedback

Feedback may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to investigate reported problems, improve the App, maintain security, and maintain appropriate business records.

Purchases and subscriptions

Purchase and subscription information may be retained by Google Play, RevenueCat, and related service providers according to their applicable policies, legal requirements, and operational requirements.

Because StudyMio AI does not require a user account for its core functionality, there is currently no StudyMio AI account containing a personal profile that requires account deletion.


15. Children's Privacy

StudyMio AI is an educational application.

We do not knowingly request or intentionally collect a child's personal information for purposes unrelated to providing the App's functionality.

However, the App uses third-party services including advertising, analytics, crash reporting, subscription, and other infrastructure services. Parents and guardians should review the applicable Google Play and service-provider policies before allowing children to use the App.

We do not represent that use of StudyMio AI alone makes the App compliant with every child-privacy law in every jurisdiction.

16. Third-Party Services

StudyMio AI uses third-party services that may process information on our behalf or provide services directly to the App.

17. International Data Processing

By using StudyMio AI, you acknowledge that information required for online services may be processed in jurisdictions where our service providers operate, subject to applicable law and contractual safeguards.
