Privacy Policy for ScreenFit
Effective Date: September 3, 2026
Last Updated: September 3, 2026
ScreenFit (“ScreenFit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is developed and provided by CoreviaLabs.
ScreenFit is designed to help users manage screen time by earning additional screen time through physical and wellbeing activities. We are committed to protecting your privacy and minimizing the collection of personal information.
This Privacy Policy explains what information ScreenFit accesses or collects, how it is used, where it is processed, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.
1. Information We Access and Process
ScreenFit is designed to keep the core experience as local and privacy-preserving as reasonably possible.
1.1 Camera Data
ScreenFit may request camera access when you start camera-based challenges such as Push-ups, Squats, or Pranayama.
Camera access is used only to verify whether the required activity is being performed.
Camera frames are:
Processed on your device.
Used temporarily during the active challenge.
Not saved as photos or videos by ScreenFit.
Not uploaded to ScreenFit servers.
Not transmitted to us for analytics.
Not used to create a face-recognition database.
Not used to identify you personally.
ScreenFit's activity-verification processing is designed to use temporary on-device analysis rather than storing camera recordings.
Guided breathing challenges do not require camera access.
1.2 Physical Activity and Motion Sensor Data
Walking challenges may use Android step sensors, including supported step-counter and step-detector sensors, to determine walking progress.
This information is used only to calculate progress toward the active walking challenge and determine whether the challenge requirement has been met.
ScreenFit does not use step information to determine your precise location.
1.3 App Usage and Screen-Time Information
ScreenFit may access Android app-usage information and related device usage information to provide screen-time statistics and enforce protected-app limits.
This information may include information such as:
Screen/app usage duration.
Usage periods relevant to ScreenFit's screen-time calculations.
Information necessary to determine whether a protected app is currently being used.
ScreenFit uses this information for screen-time management, protection, statistics, and related app functionality.
ScreenFit does not use app-usage information to read the content displayed inside other applications.
ScreenFit does not collect or transmit the contents of messages, emails, passwords, keystrokes, or other private content from other applications.
1.4 Accessibility Service
ScreenFit uses Android's Accessibility Service capability to provide its protected-app enforcement functionality.
The Accessibility Service is used to:
Detect when a protected application is being accessed.
Trigger ScreenFit's protection/intervention experience.
Enforce the user's configured screen-time protection.
ScreenFit does not use Accessibility Service access to read or collect:
Messages.
Emails.
Passwords.
Keystrokes.
Contact information.
Notification contents.
Text from other applications for analytics or advertising.
Accessibility access is used for ScreenFit's core protection functionality and is not used for unrelated purposes.
1.5 Information Stored Locally on Your Device
ScreenFit stores application data locally on your device to provide its functionality.
This may include:
Protection settings.
Protected-app configuration.
Screen-time records required by the app.
Challenge progress and completion records.
Time Bank balance and transactions.
Challenge configuration.
Progress statistics.
Local preferences and settings.
This information is used to operate ScreenFit and provide its features.
2. Information Used for Analytics and Diagnostics
ScreenFit may use selected third-party services to understand app reliability and performance and to improve the user experience.
Firebase Analytics
ScreenFit may use Google Firebase Analytics to collect limited, privacy-conscious product analytics.
Analytics are designed to measure high-level events such as:
Screen or feature usage.
Challenge lifecycle events.
Protection-related feature usage.
General onboarding and product interactions.
Pro/paywall interaction categories when applicable.
ScreenFit does not intentionally send camera frames, pose landmarks, face coordinates, screen contents, message contents, package names, or other private content to Firebase Analytics.
ScreenFit does not intentionally use Firebase Analytics to identify individual users by name or other directly identifying information.
Firebase Crashlytics
ScreenFit may use Firebase Crashlytics to identify crashes and technical problems.
Crash reports may contain technical information necessary to diagnose application failures, together with limited contextual information such as the current application screen or feature state.
ScreenFit is designed not to place camera frames, pose coordinates, screen contents, message contents, package names, or other private content into crash logs.
Firebase Performance Monitoring
ScreenFit may use Firebase Performance Monitoring to measure application performance, such as startup, screen loading, camera initialization, and challenge verification performance.
Performance monitoring is not intended to collect or transmit camera frames, pose landmarks, or per-frame activity data.
Firebase Remote Config
ScreenFit may use Firebase Remote Config to control selected non-security product configuration, such as interface copy, feature presentation, experimentation settings, or availability of the Pro upgrade interface.
Remote Config does not control ScreenFit's fundamental local protection-security rules.
3. ScreenFit Pro and Payments
ScreenFit may offer optional paid features through Google Play.
When Pro purchasing is enabled, ScreenFit may use RevenueCat and Google Play's billing infrastructure to process subscriptions or purchases.
Payment card details and other sensitive payment credentials are handled by the applicable payment provider and are not directly collected or stored by ScreenFit.
ScreenFit may receive limited purchase/subscription status information necessary to determine whether Pro features are available.
ScreenFit does not collect or store your full payment card number.
4. Information We Do Not Collect
ScreenFit is designed not to collect or transmit the following information for its normal operation:
Camera recordings.
Photos or videos captured during challenges.
Pose landmarks or face coordinates sent to our servers.
Facial-recognition data.
Screen contents from other applications.
Keystrokes.
Passwords.
Message contents.
Email contents.
Contacts.
Precise location.
Microphone recordings.
SMS or call-log contents.
Notification contents.
Camera or activity data for advertising.
We do not sell personal or sensitive user data.
5. How We Use Information
Information accessed or collected by ScreenFit is used only for purposes reasonably necessary to provide and improve ScreenFit, including:
Providing screen-time management.
Enforcing protected-app settings.
Calculating screen-time statistics.
Verifying eligible wellbeing challenges.
Awarding Time Bank rewards.
Maintaining challenge and progress history.
Providing ScreenFit Pro functionality.
Diagnosing crashes and technical problems.
Measuring application performance.
Improving usability and reliability.
Maintaining application security and integrity.
6. Sharing of Information
ScreenFit does not sell personal or sensitive user data.
Information may be processed by service providers used to operate specific ScreenFit functionality, including:
Google Firebase services for analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, and remote configuration.
RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management when Pro purchasing is enabled.
Google Play for processing purchases and subscriptions when paid functionality is enabled.
These services process information according to their respective privacy practices and the functionality they provide.
ScreenFit may also disclose information when required by applicable law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect the security and integrity of the service.
7. On-Device Processing
ScreenFit is designed with a local-first approach.
Core protection rules, challenge verification logic, Time Bank calculations, and much of the application's operational data processing occur on the device.
Camera-based activity verification is performed on-device. Camera frames used during verification are temporary and are not uploaded to ScreenFit servers.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information handled by ScreenFit.
Where information is transmitted to supported third-party services, appropriate transport security such as HTTPS/TLS is used.
We also design ScreenFit so that sensitive activity-verification data is processed locally whenever practical and is not retained unnecessarily.
No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Data Retention
ScreenFit's locally stored application data remains on your device for as long as it is needed to provide the app's functionality or until you remove it.
If you uninstall ScreenFit, Android may remove ScreenFit's locally stored application data according to the Android platform's behavior.
Limited information processed by third-party services such as Firebase or RevenueCat may be retained according to those providers' applicable retention policies and the purposes for which the services are used.
We do not intentionally retain camera recordings because ScreenFit does not save or upload camera recordings as part of its normal challenge-verification process.
10. Data Deletion and Your Choices
You can control Android permissions through your device settings, including camera and Accessibility Service access.
You may stop ScreenFit's access to a permission by disabling that permission or access in Android settings. Some ScreenFit functionality may no longer work when required permissions are disabled.
You may delete ScreenFit's locally stored application data by using Android's available app-data controls or by uninstalling the application.
If you have a question about information processed by ScreenFit or a request concerning your data, you can contact us using the privacy contact information below.
Where applicable, we will respond to valid requests in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
11. Children's Privacy
ScreenFit is not designed specifically for children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us in a manner that violates applicable law, please contact us so that we can review the situation and take appropriate action.
12. Third-Party Services
ScreenFit may use third-party services necessary to provide selected functionality.
These services may include:
Google Firebase
Google Play
RevenueCat
Each service may process information according to its own privacy policy and terms.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when ScreenFit's functionality, data practices, legal requirements, or third-party services change.
When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the application.
