The Coral Gables Senior High (CGSH) PTSA is a proud team of volunteers, who cares deeply about the 3,000+ CGSH student body. We value our teachers, staff, and administration. Our goal is to help ensure CGSH continues to provide the very best educational opportunities for all students.

Florida PTA, the largest statewide volunteer organization working exclusively on behalf of children and youth, has recognized and awarded GABLES PTSA with both the Safety Award and the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Award.

Friends of Gables High is a non-profit comprised on alumni, parents of students, and community members and leaders, with a current board of 19 members. We have a school representative to keep us fully connected to ongoing issues and needs at the school. We share a common bond: We care about the Cavaliers and the future of Coral Gables Senior High.

We believe in the basic premise of the traditional public school model and are committed to ensuring that the City of Coral Gables has a high quality free public education high school option for parents where their children can learn in a respectful, safe, and aesthetically pleasing educational environment.

The Coral Gables Community Foundation works to enhance the quality of life for those who live, work, learn and play in the City Beautiful. Since 1991, the Foundation has been at the forefront of Coral Gables’ evolving needs by effectively bringing together beneficiaries and benefactors to fund programs with the greatest impact and benefit to “The City Beautiful.” For almost 30 years the Foundation, through its discretionary, donor-advised and scholarships funds, has provided grants to local nonprofits, scholarships to deserving students and has supported issues within the Foundation’s focus areas: education, arts & culture, historic preservation and social & health services.
