Hangar 11 Construction Nears Completion
Private Hangars Generate Revenue for the NCDRA
Without Incurring Debt Loads
As small airports continue to disappear in southern Ontario, the Niagara Central Dorothy Rungeling Airport is well positioned to generate revenue for the operation of the airport and the local communities. Expansion space is abundant within a comfortable distance from large urban centres. Unlike public hangars, private hangars require no initial investment from local taxpayers to build, and generate immediate revenue in the form of leases, property taxes, fuel sales and expenditures within the surrounding communities. The slides below show private Hangar 11 nearing completion.
