Event one: 2.1c in Africa: Exploring Evidence-Based Solutions for Supporting the Pathways to Low Emissions and Climate-Resilient Development

SouthSouthNorth (SSN) has initiated new projects with the support of the South African Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE), Ethiopian Ministry of Finance and the African Group of Negotiators (AGN) to explore Africa-specific evidence for transforming financial flows in line with the Paris Agreement goals. This session will introduce the project objectives and seek to gather views to inform the key research questions to contextualize and operationalize article 2.1c focusing on clusters of county-context in relation to mitigation, adaptation and energy security in Africa.

Event two: Towards a Global Climate Education Agreement and the Roadmap to 2030
