Inclusion refers to the practice of ensuring that ALL students, including those with exceptionalities, are fully integrated into educational programs and activities. It describes the principle that all students are entitled to equitable access to learning, achievement and the pursuit of excellence. Inclusion embraces diversity and learning differences. Meaningful strategies, services, and supports strengthen the inclusion community. This philosophy makes people feel respected, supported, and valued for who they are as an individual or group.
