Gratitude
A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR VOLUNTEER QUILTERS, and those community members who wrote thoughts and tributes on quilt squares that were stitched into our living history memento from the event. Cathy and Tammy spearheaded the project and spent countless hours towards restitching and finishing. We truly have a beautiful and tangible memory of the event that will be on display at various sites around New Hanover County in 2023. A list of locations and dates it will be on display are forthcoming.
Thank You Cool Wilmington/The American Craft Walk and The City of Wilmington. Without your help and support, this grassroots event would not be possible!
This is truly a "We the People event", for the community, by the community, presented with the help and support of everyday citizens and participants entities who support our vision.
