Every October, the second Monday of the month is Indigenous' Peoples Day. This day honors and celebrates the culture and history of Indigenous peoples in the United States. As Humboldt State's Student Chapter of the Wildlife Society, we recognize the importance of this day and continually supporting Indigenous peoples. Through these resources, we intend to facilitate social justice for Indigenous peoples. This list is by no means sufficient; addressing diversity and inclusion in our club, STEM, and the larger society requires active participation. Please contact us if you have recommendations on how we can better do our part to make this community more inclusive and representative of marginalized groups, and consider taking one of the courses offered through Humboldt State University on these topics.
