ARCHER
The energy of the Conquest Shield comes from everyone present, not only the archers. All are welcome to attend as spectators and enjoy the day. A selection of stalls will also be set up, showcasing traditional arts, small businesses, and other initiatives we aim to promote within our community. We would be delighted to see you there!
Yes! This year, Conquest Shield includes an Entry-Level bracket alongside the Experienced category, allowing archers of different skill levels to compete. Please refer to the question, “How will my level be assessed?” for further details.
Levels for non-Iḥyā ar-Rimāyah members will be assessed based on their archery experience.
All archers who have been shooting for more than one year will be placed in the 'Experienced' category*.
All archers who have been shooting for less than one year will be placed in the 'Entry' category*.
You are welcome to move up a level if you wish; however, you may not move down a level or change divisions during the competition.

Conquest Shield is open to youth aged 10 to 14 years. Their skill level will be assessed, and their archery instructor must grant approval.
Only traditional bows are permitted, without rests, shelves, cut-outs, markings, sights, or any modern aiming aids.

AMENITIES
Food stalls will be available throughout the day for competitors and spectators to purchase meals and refreshments.
All food will be strictly ḥalāl.
Yes, alḥamdulillāh, there are separate wuḍū’ facilities available for males and females.
