Connor’s Quilts gives me an outlet for my love of quilting and my desire to honor the memory of my nephew, Connor James Moll. Connor, is the son of my sister, Mara Nass Moll and husband Bryan Moll, of Clive. Connor was a business major at the University of Iowa when he was fatally injured in a car accident on November 16, 2020. He was just 21 years old.
Favorite memories are time spent playing and loving on his 'littles’ — his cousin’s children. And that love was reciprocated! He was equally spoiled and loved by his favorite aunt — Crazy Aunt Mimi. Because Connor had such a big heart for kids, I have wanted to share all donations raised from the annual sale of quilts to some project that will continue to touch other children’s lives.
Each year I select a program or fund for donations. This year will be the fourth year of this project. The goal is to make one quilt per month. Quilts are posted on Connor's Quilts Facebook page in September, Connor's birth month. People are able to request and purchase through Facebook comments/messages. Every year ALL quilts have been taken within the first hour! Friends, family and others have donated generously and are helping me keep Connor's memory alive and share his love with others!
Connor had his Grandpa Nass welcoming him into Heaven!
