Connor's Quilts: Supporting Mara & Honoring Connor in 2025

This year I have chosen to support Above + Beyond Cancer—an organization that supports cancer survivors and caregivers with health + wellness programs during their cancer journey. This fundraiser is in honor of Connor, a beloved son gone too soon, and in support of his mother(my sister), Mara, who embarked on the Appalachian Trail Transformational Journey as part of her healing process. The funds raised in September 2025 will go to support a young adult cancer survivor in one of Above + Beyond Cancer's many opportunities.

To help fund Above + Beyond Cancer’s life-changing programs, I will be posting and selling at least one dozen more quilts—stitched with love, warmth, and purpose. Every dollar raised will go directly to the organization, empowering cancer survivors and caregivers to find strength, resilience, and hope through mind, body and spirit experiences, just like Connor's mom.  She is a 17 year survivor of breast cancer!
