Hi, I'm Connor, a student from Coastal Carolina University

Hello! My name is Connor Mojo! I'm a Political Science major at Coastal Carolina University. As a Political Science major, I am very interested in the causes and effects of certain laws and precedents made by governments, specifically on the municipal level. I'm a Horry County local who is interested in understanding the local issues that Horry County faces and the effects of it. Gentrification is one such issue that has contributed a lot to the poor economic and social quality of the locals. A lot of the historically significant sites of Horry County that do not provide any tourist money to the government are being threatened by destruction for the purpose of building more tourist attractions (the prime example being the Whittemore Elementary School, which is important to the Black Community in Horry County).
